The artist Deniz Sözen invites you to search for traces in the interstices and sounds of mother tongue(s), diaspora and migration in text, words and song. Remembered and imagined sounds, words, images and smells of mothers* – their bodies, languages and voices – serve as material. Whispering, singing, crying, clapping, laughing, a common sound collage and the potential of multilingual mothers‘ voices will be explored.
